1. Overview

At SolunaYoga, we strive to provide exceptional service and ensure your satisfaction. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for our various services and products. We believe in fairness and transparency, and this policy is designed to protect both our students and our business operations.

Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases. By purchasing our services or products, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this refund policy.

2. Class Packages and Drop-in Classes

Our refund policy for classes varies depending on the type of purchase:

Important: Class packages have expiration dates. Expired packages cannot be refunded or extended except in extraordinary circumstances such as serious illness or injury with medical documentation.

3. Membership Refunds

Membership refunds are handled according to the following guidelines:

  • Monthly Memberships: Can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. No refund for partial months, but membership remains active until the end of the billing cycle.
  • Annual Memberships: Full refund available within 14 days of purchase if no classes have been attended. After 14 days, prorated refunds may be considered for medical reasons with documentation.
  • Promotional Memberships: Special offer memberships are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
  • Frozen Memberships: Memberships can be frozen for up to 3 months per year for medical reasons or extended travel (documentation required).

4. Workshop and Event Refunds

Workshops, retreats, and special events have specific refund policies due to their limited capacity and special arrangements:

  • More than 14 days before event: Full refund minus $25 processing fee
  • 7-14 days before event: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before event: No refund, but credit may be applied to future workshops
  • Event cancellation by SolunaYoga: Full refund including any processing fees

Transfer Option: Workshop registrations can be transferred to another person up to 48 hours before the event at no additional charge.

5. Product Returns

For yoga accessories, clothing, and other retail products sold at our studio:

  • Return Period: 30 days from purchase date
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, with receipt
  • Refund Method: Original payment method or store credit
  • Sale Items: Final sale items are not returnable unless defective
  • Custom Orders: Personalized or custom-ordered items are non-returnable

6. Medical and Emergency Circumstances

We understand that unexpected medical situations can arise. In cases of serious illness, injury, or other emergency circumstances:

  • Medical documentation from a healthcare provider is required
  • Refunds or credits may be granted on a case-by-case basis
  • Pregnancy-related modifications or pauses are accommodated with medical clearance
  • Military deployment or job relocation may qualify for special consideration
  • Family emergencies will be evaluated individually

7. Refund Process and Timeline

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Contact our customer service team via email or phone
  • Step 2: Provide your purchase information and reason for refund request
  • Step 3: Submit any required documentation (medical certificates, etc.)
  • Step 4: Await review and approval (typically 3-5 business days)
  • Step 5: Receive refund via original payment method (5-10 business days)

8. Non-Refundable Items and Services

The following items and services are generally non-refundable:

  • Gift certificates and gift cards (unless required by law)
  • Teacher training programs after commencement
  • Completed private sessions
  • Expired class packages or memberships
  • Services used during promotional periods
  • Processing fees and administrative charges

9. Class Cancellations by SolunaYoga

When we need to cancel classes due to instructor illness, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances:

  • Students will be notified as soon as possible via email and SMS
  • Full credit will be applied to your account automatically
  • Make-up classes may be offered when possible
  • No refunds for travel expenses or other incidental costs

10. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision:

  • Request to speak with a manager or studio owner
  • Provide additional documentation or explanation
  • We will review your case within 7 business days
  • Final decisions will be communicated in writing
  • Legal disputes will be handled according to Argentine consumer protection laws

11. Consumer Rights

This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Argentine law. You may have additional rights that cannot be excluded or limited by this policy.
